We will also ask for your credit card information when you place an order. We maintain an in-house record of your purchases, including credit card information, for research and problem resolution. We do not store complete credit card information on our web server.

This information is used solely for the purpose of monitoring the traffic our site is generating. Return Policy

If you're ever unhappy with a Peeple’s Treasures & Gifts purchase, simply present your receipt to the store and we'll gladly exchange the item or process an exchange or an in store credit whichever you prefer. We ask that you return an item within 14 days of purchase and that the item be returned in its original packaging.

Please note:
Items purchased at Peeple’s Treasures & Gifts may not be returned to Peeple’s Treasures & Gifts.com. Returns of purchases made at Peeple’s Treasures & Gifts.com Online merchandise may be mailed back to Peeple’s Treasures & Gifts.com or brought to Peeple’s Treasures & Gifts Store for exchange or in store credit within 14 days of purchase. Make sure that the item is in the original packaging.

Please note:
Jewelry items have been inspected before being shipped.  Specifications for each one of a kind piece have been indicated on the website.

Returns via Return Shipment

1. Complete the return slip on your packing slip by indicating the return reason and quantity returned.
2. Use the Return Label from your packing slip to mail your merchandise return.
3. Because we cannot assume responsibility for packages lost or damaged in transit, we recommend you insure your package for the purchase price of the merchandise before sending it back to us.
4. Your return will be credited to the credit card used to make the purchase. 
   Please note: Postage and insurance costs, as well as your original shipping and handling charges, are not refundable.
5. You will receive an e-mail notifying you when we have received your return and credited your account. Please note: It may take up to two full billing cycles for your credit to appear on your credit card statement. If you return an item purchased as part of a multiple discount (such as buy 1, select 1 for 50% off), your credit will be equal to the pre-discount price minus a portion of the discount you received as a result of receiving a multiple discount, not the pre-discount price of the single item.

We reserve the right to refuse returns from customers whom we believe abuse our return policy by returning excessive amounts of online merchandise. Peeple’s Treasures & Gifts electronically keeps record of customers' purchases and returns in order to enable us to determine if a customer is abusing our return policy.

If you have misplaced your packing slip, you can reprint your return slip. Sign in and go to your order status page, and then click the order you would like to return. The bottom of the page will prompt you to print your return slip.

SECURITY POLICY

At Peeple’s Treasures & Gifts, the security of your personal information is our top priority. We insure confidentiality and security in three ways.

1. Personal information, including your credit card number, is encrypted and sent only over secure Internet lines. While using Secure Socket Layer (SSL) technology, your Microsoft Internet Explorer or Firefox browser will let you know when the line is secure. Internet Explorer and Firefox use a "lock" icon for their browsers. These "locks" will appear on the browser when using a secure line. On both browsers the "http:" pre-fix will read "https:" when accessing a secure server. If these indicators are present, you can be confident of a secure data transaction.

2. We do not store complete credit card information on our web server. Once your order is placed, we send the order to our main order processing system using a "one-way" private network. 

3. We take your financial security seriously and are confident that we have made shopping on our website safe for all customers. We are compliant with the rigorous security requirements set by the PCI (Payment Card Industry) and have been certified PCI compliant by non-affiliated, third party licensing companies. We employ various firewalls and other security tactics to keep your information secure.

While there is some risk inherent in every Internet transaction, you can rest assured that we are working overtime to ensure that risk is minimal.
